Last night was really fun.  Ant and I met up with Zach at Charlie’s.  Then Patrick, Jen, and Alex (all new people from my work) came up there to hang with us.  It was really fun.  I was really glad that Alex came along because I’m really standoffish at work and haven’t really talked to him much.  But I’ve been wanting to!

I don’t know what’s wrong with me!  I am just painfully shy.  The other day, this customer that I always see and always talk to came to my register and tried to talk to me.  He asked me how school was going and what I was studying, and I don’t know, I just got really embarrassed for some reason.  I could feel my face burning up, I’m sure it was really red.  My hands were red, and I seriously felt like I was going to pass out.  Anyways, he must think I have a crush on him or something (which I really don’t!)  I really have a problem with this shyness thing.  I don’t know how I’m going to get over it.  UGH.

Friday night, met up with Heidi at UBurger.  Went over to the Art Institute of Boston for one of her friend’s senior photo show.  It was ok.  Rob came and met up with us, and we drove over to the Other Side.  I think I really like that place.  Sometimes it rubs me the wrong way, I think it’s the food prices really.  But, for just a beer, I don’t mind it so much.  A while later, Ant and I went to Charlie’s thinking that Patrick was going to meet up, but he bailed.  We had fun though.  We watched the Sox game.  :)

Thursday night was my Spanish final.  I think it really went well.  It wasn’t quite as hard as I was thinking it would be.  I finished up early and got ice cream with Anthony at the Cold Stone by WF.  Right before we went in, this older woman had about 5 bags and a case of water in one of our carts.  The carts lock at a certain point, so she was trying to push it, and it wouldn’t move.  She looked puzzled.  So we went up to her and told her about the locking mechanism and why it happens (people were stealing the carts and they are really expensive) and she didn’t know what to do.  She said she lived right down the street and asked us if we were going in that direction.  We told her that we were getting ice cream.  But that we definitely wouldn’t mind helping her home with her groceries.  She was so happy.  It was really cute.  So we helped her home, and she told us about Joan Crawford and all the movies that she had rented at the library.  It was so cute.

I have also partially decided to chop all of my hair off again.  It will look like this:

I emailed my friend that does my hair.  She said she would do it, but it makes her sad.  Aww.  She also asked me if I was still looking for a new apartment/roommate, because she is!  That would be so fun…
